What To Expect

Reichstag Building
The Reichstag was built in 1894 for the first German parliament. After World War I it became home to the Parliament of the Weimar Republic. Then, it 1933, shortly after Hitler's rise to power, a fire destroyed much of the inside and the building was closed. Hitler did not need a parliament. It wasn't until reunifacation that the building was restored and the new German Parliament was ready to move in.

Brandenburg Gate
The Brandenburg Gate may well be Berlin's, no, Germany's most famous landmark.

Unter den Linden
Unter den Linden begins at the Hohenzollern Palace and ends at the Brandenburg Gate. Some of Berlin's oldest buildings such as the Opera and the Kronprinzenpalais are located here.
